Custom calipers

I needed to gage wall-bridge thicknesses on odd-shaped castings. Using standard outside calipers proved time consuming and produced inaccurate readings. I remedied the problem by modifying an old set of calipers (as shown) that easily and accurately gaged the intricate wall-thickness profiles.
