SumiNotch Grade EH510V grooving inserts exhibit a stable tool life and have a V coating for wear and notch resistance. The inserts are for continuous cuts, as well as finishing light to medium-light interrupted cuts. Grade EH510V machines exotic materials including heat-resistant steel, titanium alloy, and N, Fe, and Co-based alloys. Flank wear is low for increased cutting uptime and decreased tool-indexing downtime.
SumiNotch inserts have a rigid groove-locking design for stability and minimum movement. With an industrystandard design in 16 grooving widths, they fit in industrystandard toolholders and boring bars. All SumiNotch turning toolholders (SS Series) and boring bars (A-SE Series) have simple pockets and a single-clamp and screw design.
