A full-color catalog from BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling highlights the company's precision face-milling tools, 112.200 boring heads, and back-boring insert-holder program. The 108-pg catalog, number 307, is color coded to ease selection of components and features a reader-friendly index system. Its layout presents tools in the order of operations, beginning with drills and proceeding to rough-boring tools, finish-boring tools, large-diameter-boring systems, chamfering tools, special tools, and modular toolholders.
A front-cover graphic shows many of the tool combinations and solutions provided by the system. The catalog includes documentation for Kaiser's updated large-diameter-boring-system components and a new O.D.-turning tool for intermediate diameters. Also new are many accessories, including insert holders for Kaiser's EWN precision-finishing heads and for the 112 program. Also, there is a presentation on the new 112.118 heads with an extended range of 3.15 to 6 in., high-accuracy Vernier scales included with all EWN/EWB finish heads, and microadjustment cartridges for special tools.
