Compact rod actuators

Type Cres high-thrust rod actuators from THK America Inc., Shaumburg, Ill., have maximum strokes of 130 mm and work well in nontraditional applications including positioning systems, opening/closing mechanisms and height adjusters. Speed ranges are from 15 mm to 55 mm per second with feeding-force ranges from 196 newtons to 490 newtons. Type Cres actuators come in two standard models — Cres200 and Cres500. www.thk.com
