Dynabrade, Inc. (www.dynabrade.com) has developed an air-powered, 100,000 RPM pencil grinder that is designed for high speed cutting and deburring on a variety of materials.
The pencil grinder features an ergonomic, pencil-type shaft for operator comfort and control. The housing also has a comfortable “non-slip” grip.
This rear exhaust tool also features tactile cues on the shaft end to alert the operator to the rotating area. The high speed, turbine-driven air tool has no wearable gears, vanes, or blades, to assure a longer tool life.
The company said its ceramic bearings provide optimum performance and reliability.
Its tool speed is adjustable with a simple twist of an on/off switch. The stainless steel tool housing offers stability and durability.
It is available in collet sizes of 1/8 in., 3/32 in., 1/16, in. and 3 mm.
The Pencil Grinder powers optional carbide burrs and mounted points for precision deburring, engraving, etching and cleaning.
