Pinpoint Laser Systems (www.pinlaser.com) has introduced a laser alignment tool for precision measuring, machinery alignment, calibration, and other industrial applications.
The Microgage 2D Laser was designed as a compact and easy-touse tool for checking and aligning industrial equipment, including roll and web lines, CNC cutting and milling equipment, lathes, stamping presses, injection molding machines, extrusion systems, and other production equipment to make them more efficient and to reduce downtime.
The company said its Microgage 2D combines a compact laser transmitter with a receiver and digital display to provide vertical and horizontal measurements with accuracies to 0.0001 in. It will operate over a distance of 100 ft, and has accessories to allow for alignment of straightness, runout, parallelism, squareness, bore alignment, shaft alignment, flatness measuring, and other aspects of industrial equipment and parts.
