Skimmer Enclosure Contains Vapors

The Model 6V vapor hood is designed so that the electric motor that drives the skimmer is protected from the skimming area, while the gasketed enclosure prevents volatile organic compounds from escaping into the atmosphere. A built-in decanter provides water-free oil skimming, and there is access through the hood for inspection and maintenance of the skimmer unit. The vapor hood, manufactured by Oil Skimmers, Inc.
