A Move to Automation Alley

In Michigan, automation alley resides near the highways of I-75 and M-59 near Detroit because of a dense concentration of high-tech businesses in the surrounding area. This is why ATI Industrial Automation of Apex, N. C., recently opened a new office there to provide quick, on-site sales and customer service.

ATI is an engineeringbased developer of robotic peripheral equipment, including automatic tool changers, multi-axis force/torque sensing systems, robotic deburring tools, robotic collision sensors and compliance devices. The company’s new Michigan office houses sales, customer service and training departments as well as space for inventory, and it is located at 4577 Lapeer Rd., Suite I, Orion Township.
