Speaker

Dominique Galmel | Portfolio Director - Machining and Additive Manufacturing | Dassault Systèmes

Dominique began his career in 1989 as a software developer and application engineer, specializing in automated software for 2-5 axis CNC machine programming. In 2001, he joined Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA brand, initially focusing on automotive powertrain manufacturing process solutions. He later transitioned to consulting for the aerospace industry, developing solutions for aircraft manufacturing in collaboration with a major OEM.

In 2010, Dominique shifted his focus to the industrial equipment industry, consulting on supply chain solutions for a leading tire manufacturer. He subsequently assumed responsibility for Dassault Systèmes' manufacturing, supply chain, and operations management solutions for the entire industrial equipment industry, including industrial machinery, construction and heavy mobile machinery, fabricated metal products, and tire manufacturing segments.

Most recently, Dominique led the heavy mobile machinery and equipment segment within the Industrial Equipment industry. Since September 2022, he has headed the DELMIA Fabrication portfolio, encompassing both NC machine and additive manufacturing machine programming.
