The Auto-Cut CNC rod cut-off machine for the carbide tool and carbide rod manufacturing industries can double the production rate for cutting carbide rod when compared with manual cut-off machines, according to the machine’s maker Rush Machinery Inc..

The company’s machine features a touch-screen operator interface, so operators can quickly set parameters for rod diameters and lengths. The machine automatically loads and cuts rods from a large capacity magazine, handling rod diameters from 1.4 mm to 40 mm and lengths to 16 in.
