Combo Bar Puller/Cut-Off Tool

The new Somma Bar Puller Cut-Off Tool is a combination bar puller and cut-off tool for CNC from Somma Tool Co. (www.sommatool.com) that saves a turret position because it is a bar puller and cut-off tool in one unit. Cycle time is reduced because there is no need to index between cut-off and pulling operations.

A single screw adjustment allows the jaws to be setup and adjusted in minutes for the next job. One turn of the screw moves both jaws in or out 0.100 in. Screw adjustment is infinitely adjustable as opposed to serrated designs that have adjustment limitations. The tool accepts various brands of insert-style cut-off blades as well as jaws and jaw fingers.
