The new Cinch carbide insert chamfering tool from Fitz-Rite Products Inc. uses a square ANSI standard insert and is available in 60,82, 90 and 120-degree included angles. The compact yet rigid design enables users to chamfer holes as small as 0.250 in. in diameter while running at the higher speeds and feedrates available on today’s machines.

The tool is also available in a Double Angle configuration that can be used to chamfer both the top and the bottom of holes as small as 0.6562 in. in diameter. All of the tools use the same insert, eliminating the need for multiple insert inventories. Each tool comes on a 0.625-in.-diameter hardened and ground alloy shank and comes with an extra insert screw.
