Sandvik Coromant in Partnership with Grainger

Cutting tool supplier Sandvik Coromant reports it established a business relationship with W.W. Grainger Inc., a distributor of facilities maintenance products. Beginning in October, more than 15,000 Sandvik Coromant products will be available online through Grainger’s web site, www.grainger.com, and in Grainger’s 2010 catalog.

Grainger reportedly supplies 1.8 million customers across North America, with a network of more than 600 branches, 18 distribution centers, and multiple Web sites. Sandvik Coromant will continue to supply products through its own distributors, and indicates that working with Grainger will complement that network.

"As a market leader, we are constantly looking for ways to better serve our current and future customers," stated Sandvik Coromant president John Israelsson. "Grainger’s highly effective distribution model will allow us to reach even more manufacturers, especially in the small to mid-size range."
