Royal Machine & Tool Corp.
(www.royalworkholding.com) has launched an in-house aerospace service group that will encompass the company’s workholding specialists that have experience engineering, designing and machining specialized and custom-built hydraulic and manually operated fixtures to for the unique and exotic shapes of parts that are being demanded by the aerospace industry.
Richard Ruscio, president of the Berlin, Conn., company, said the specially designed fixtures will provide rigid clamping forces for aerospace materials and parts.
The company is planning to build a 1,200 sq. ft. addition to its facility that will give it additional manufacturing space and an improved flow of work through its shop, Ruscio said in a release.
