Manufacturing group purchases tooling company

Colonial Tool Group Inc., a designer and manufacturer of precision tooling and machine spindles, has purchased the business of Advance Cutting Tool Systems Inc., a company that makes special tooling for the automotive and aerospace industries. Reportedly, the acquisition will complement Colonial Tool Group’s growing precision spindle manufacturing sector by allowing the company to provide complete spindle and tooling packages in a timely fashion. Both companies are located in Windsor, Ontario.
