Seco Tools Inc. (www.secotesco.com) has introduced two Jabro Mini solid carbide end mill lines including the JM100 series. The tools are designed to machine hardened tool steels to 65 HRc, and the 400 series is designed for machining aluminum and copper. The Jabro Mini series is complemented by a range of solid carbide cutters for applications in markets such as mold and die, medical, aerospace or general engineering.
Manufactured from micrograin carbides, Seco said the Jabro’s applicationspecific end mill geometries are enhanced with the latest coating technology for heat and wear resistance. This allows greater productivity by increasing machining parameters and tool life while reducing tool changes and setup time. Jabro Mini tools are available in diameters from 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm with ball and bull nose end configurations. Additionally, Seco offers various toolholding options, such as the EasyShrink thermal induction system to provide a high level of concentricity and low runout.
