Software enhances productivity

ShopMill Version 6.4 software has easy, step-by-step, on-screen programming that reportedly reduces programming, tooling, and production times. It works with Siemens' Sinumerik 810D or 840D CNCs running Windows XP. Additional software features include dynamic 3D views with simulation, including real-time simulation, for 3D views of parts to be cut in either simulation or real-time mode; a new engraving cycle for etching complex text on radii; and enhanced tool list and workpiece measurements in manual mode.
