Two configurations for robots

M-16iB/20T Toploader articulated gantry robots have a maximum reach of 68 in. and come in an underslung or sideslung configuration. The underslung configuration suspends the robot arm underneath the rail structure for a symmetrical work envelope on both sides of the rail. The sideslung configuration suspends the robot arm off the side of the rail structure for maximum vertical stroke. Both configurations are well-suited for machine tool loading/unloading, process applications such as die spray, and injection-molding machine loading/unloading.

They are also used in arc welding, palletizing/ depalletizing, and painting.
