Deep-hole inspection

Multi-Ball thread micrometers and location gages inspect screw threads at depths exceeding hole diameter.

The micrometer measures size, taper, and out-of-roundness.

The location gage determines the location or orientation of a threaded-hole axis. A pattern of balls expands and contacts thread flanks to align with the internal-thread axis.
