EC-500 HMCs from Haas Automation feature 813 508 711-mm work areas, dual pallet changers with 500-mm pallets, and built-in, high-precision pallet indexers for 1° indexing. Standard are a 40-taper, 8,000-rpm spindles powered by 14.9-kW vector dual-drive systems, as are 40-pocket, side-mount toolchangers that swap tools in 1.6 sec and have high-volume coolant systems.
