System takes standard parts

The gantry of the Vicon Elite multifunctional plasma and oxy-fuel cutting system uses various standard and/or plasma-power supplies as well as oxy-fuel cutting heads, scribing tools, and drill heads. High-speed, dual drives let the system traverse more than 2,000 ipm while providing positioning and cornering accuracies at maximum torch-cutting speeds. With ViSoft cutting software, the machine reportedly produces parts with edge quality and accuracy on both corners and holes.
