Type SC 55104 3.94-in.-diameter spindles tackle accurate mold milling with high metal removal. They use HSK-32 tapers and work up to 40,000 rpm with permanent-grease bearings. The manufacturer reports the Type SC 55104s have the highest bearing stiffness in their class — 150 nµ — for generating good surface finishes.
