Part Numbers in Pocket (PNP) case inserts and tote liners from UFP Technologies Inc., Georgetown, Maine (www.ufptech.com)are designed to provide component identification and protection for parts needed for work-in-progress or for finished items. PNP has part numbers in the bottom of tool or component silhouette pockets or cavities, and are protected by a clear, plastic laminate. The company says PNP simplifies reordering components or specialty tools and allows users to know exact part numbers when requesting replacements.
PNP case inserts and tote liners are available in a variety of colors and materials including fabricated foams, laminated composites and conductive/antistatic materials. They can be cut with a water jet or CNC router, so that they can be easily revised without tooling.
