Mori Seiki moves headquarters

June 14, 2006

Mori Seiki USA, manufacturer of machine tools, has relocated its U.S. headquarters to Rolling Meadows, Ill. The new headquarters will have national responsibility for sales, applications engineering, service, technical communications, training marketing, administration and automated systems.
The company's previous headquarters in Irving, Texas, will continue to support its southern customers as a technical center for additional customer support and training for distributors. The company's American parts center will remain in Dallas, complementing the parts, sales, service and training support from other local distributors.
Company President Thomas Dillon says the move consolidates personnel into one facility, allowing for additional efficiency of operations as well as heightened communication and accessibility for customers. Mori Seiki Co. Ltd. is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, and maintains five manufacturing facilities in that country.
