Kubota Corporation has opened an additional production line at its Kubota Manufacturing of America plant in Gainesville, Ga.

The company invested $20 million in the production line to build industrial utility vehicles. The 212,000-square-foot plant was re-engineered after part of the existing production was moved to a new affiliate, Kubota Industrial Equipment, in Jackson County, Ga.

The investment puts world-class production into its Georgia facility, says Kubota Manufacturing America.

The company’s investments are part of its planned increase in total manufacturing capabilities in North America.

In addition to the new production line for utility vehicles, Kubota continues to manufacture and assemble lawn tractors and related products in North America.
