Harlow Aerostructures gets $4 million in industrial revenue bonds

A Wichita aviation manufacturer’s expansion got a boost this week when the Wichita City Council approved $4 million in industrial revenue bonds.
Harlow Aerostructures LLC (www.harlowair.com) sought the bonds to purchase new CNC machining equipment as part of a company expansion in progress. The expansion is expected to create 38 new jobs over the next five years with an average annual salary of $38,201. The expansion also received a 100 percent ad valorem tax exemption from the city in September 2006.

The company is a manufacturer of machining and sheet metal products for the aerospace industry and services Sprint, Boeing, Cessna, Raytheon, General Dynamics and Voight, according to city staff.
