American Machinist 10 Best Machine Shops

Aug. 9, 2006

American Machinist’s machine shop benchmarking project has provided a wealth of information that machine shops can use to measure their operational effectiveness, and systematically improve to become more competitive.

On Thursday, September 7, 2006, at 11 a.m, in Room E-259 at McCormick Place, American Machinist will introduce the 2006 class of the 10 Best Machine Shops – an elite group that represents the next phase of the benchmarking research.

At that time, we will profile the winners and the method behind their selection. We will also review the methodology of our benchmarking study, discuss upcoming reports on the data, and announce our Best Practices Conference & Workshop, an in-person event to be held in November 2007. Please join us for refreshments and the recognition of excellence in American manufacturing.
