Agie Charmilles Corporation unifying sales, service and support

Following up the unification of back-office and logistics departments, Agie Charmilles (www.agiecharmilles.us) Corporation started on Nov. 1 to merge the sales and service departments of Agie, Charmilles and Mikron in North America.
Agie Charmilles said the action is designed to provide its customers with a comprehensive source for their EDM and high-speed and high performance milling requirements. Agie Charmilles added that all three brands will continue to be sold and fully supported during and following the transition.
Agie Charmilles said it expectst that putting the Agie, Charmilles and Mikron brands into a single sales channel will streamline service and application support, achieving higher levels of availability, efficiency and savings.
Agie Charmilles Corp. has selected a group of respected and experienced dealers to represent Agie, Charmilles and Mikron products, and is cross-training more than 100 service engineers in more than 30 states. All three brands will be represented at seven demo centers across the country.
