When asked who they blame for the dramatic loss of manufacturing jobs in the past 10 years, the majority of respondents to an American Mold Builders Association survey indicated they blamed the government and trade policies.

However, a few respondents noted that they have not seen a big loss in jobs. In fact, over the past six years, moldmaking employment among the association’s member shops has remained fairly consistent.
