Two-turret lathe cuts machining time

To reduce machining time, Tong-Tai Seiki USA Inc.'s TVL-40-S4W four-axis vertical turning lathe (VTL) has one spindle and two turrets. This boxway VTL produces 14 to 26-inch-diameter aluminum wheels as well as other turned parts. The turrets have six stations and X and Z travels measuring 20.6 inches.
