Software Tackles Multi-axis Machining

Delcam's PowerMill 6 CAM software sports more functions for 2, 3, and 5-axis machining. This includes the 2D Machining Wizard that covers all stages for working with both 2Dwireframe-geometries and imported 3D CAD models; a series of drilling templates that let users create their own drilling methods as well as use the templates; settings and strategies for flat areas and plunge-milling strategies; and options for swarf-machining functionality.
