Delta surface-grinding machines feature hydrostatic way systems, which, in conjunction with traveling columns, provide stable, precise, and repeatable working envelopes. There is no metal-to-metal contact on mating way surfaces, resulting in no heat buildup, low maintenance, and heavy tableload-carrying capacities. In addition, the machines feature hydrodynamic spindle bearings and double-row, angular-contact, preloaded ball-bearing support on the back of their spindles.
