The compact and symmetrical gantry design of the Mgerle Modular System (MMS) for grinding, with ballscrews and wide-spaced linear roller bearings for all axes, provides high static, dynamic, and thermal stability. The machine's table handles main axis movement, so various grinding heads mount to the same machine base. Manual or automatic loading/unloading is done from one of four sides. The machine module comes with a stationary vertical-motor spindle with integrated toolchanger.
