Kyocera Industrial Ceramics Corp has developed end mills and face mills that the company says are designed to provide good wall finishes and high squareness during shouldering or slotting cuts. Kyocera says its Ultra Hurricane end and face mills have insert designs that lower cutting forces, withstand heavy cuts and increase feedrates. The tools are available in the company's MEC Tool series and feature a silver coating and large chip-pocket radius for protection. www.kyocera.com/ceratip
