BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. (www.bigkaiser.com) will introduce several product lines including EWN Digital Boring Heads in a diameter range of 2 mm to 54 mm with diameter adjustments of 1 micron displayed a high-contrast LCD display. A single button is used for all standard functions such as On, Reset and Store. The display will also have an Auto-Off feature to optimize battery life. Accessories for the range are the same as for existing program EWN2-50XL.
The EWB-UP heads will also be shown with inch graduations. These heads feature easy-to-read dials New boring heads, collet chucks and drills with divisions of 0.00005 in. on diameter. A second dial on the heads corresponds to the boring diameter range and is adjusted to correct for tool unbalance. The tool carrier locking system doesn’t influence the tool diameter to ensure repeatability.
