A quick-change shank allows one Axial Thread Rolling Head from LMT-Fette, Cleveland, to move from a screw machine, to a CNC lathe, and to a CNC machining center without adapters. For work on a multitude of machines, the rolling head accomodates designated shanks, or single shanks can be provided for several rolling heads. The shanks are compatible with VDl, HSK, CAT-V, and straight shanks in metric or inch versions. Maintenance on the rolling head requires only shank or clutch replacement.
